Before there was The Petal Pounce coffee, there was a cat.
Her name is Peanut, and she's a curious little soul.
Always interested in what's happening around her, Peanut reminds us of something we tend to forget as we grow older: the simple joy of being curious.
Somewhere along the way, our days become filled with routines. We take the same paths, notice the same things, and sometimes forget to look a little closer.
But there's so much beauty hiding in ordinary moments.
A flower we hadn't noticed before. A familiar place seen in a different light. The unexpected happiness of discovering something new.
Peanut reminds us that sometimes, all it takes is a little curiosity to make an ordinary day feel full of possibilities.
That's where The Petal Pounce began.
Meet our curious little Peanut.
The Petal Pounce illustration was inspired by Peanut and her playful spirit.
We wanted to capture that feeling of following your curiosity, getting a little distracted, and finding something wonderful along the way.
Not every moment needs a purpose. Not every discovery needs to be extraordinary.
Sometimes, the joy is simply in looking around and seeing where the day takes you.
Finding the perfect cup.
Not every coffee could become The Petal Pounce.
We wanted something that felt different from our comforting everyday brews. Something bright, delicate and a little unexpected.
Our Yunnan Osmanthus coffee from Dehong, China, felt just right.
With delicate floral notes of osmanthus, the gentle sweetness of white peach and a beautifully tea-like finish reminiscent of Dong Ding light oolong, it's a coffee that invites you to discover something new.
Light, refreshing and wonderfully fragrant.

This one feels like stepping outside and discovering a whole world waiting to be explored.
Bringing the story to life.
Every Sneaky Beans illustration begins with an idea, a few sketches, and a cat who has absolutely no idea she's becoming part of a coffee collection.
For The Petal Pounce, we wanted the artwork to feel as light and playful as the coffee itself.
A little colour, a little curiosity, and a world where there's always something lovely waiting to be discovered.
As the illustration came together, so did the feeling we wanted to share.
That even on the most ordinary days, there's still room for a little wonder.
From Sketchbook to Coffee Pouch
The Petal Pounce also marks the beginning of something new for Sneaky Beans: our Seasonal Exclusives Collection.
But bringing this little idea to life wasn't quite as simple as we imagined.
There were plenty of trials, errors, adjustments and moments of going back to the drawing board. All because we had one little idea in mind: What if we could fit everything you need to brew a lovely cup of coffee into one little bag?
No fancy equipment. No coffee machine. Just good coffee, made simple.
After plenty of experimenting and refining, we finally brought everything together.
Inside each pouch is 100g of ground Yunnan Osmanthus coffee, 10 drip filters, a coffee spoon, and a collectible art postcard.
One spoon. Ten filters. Ten lovely cups of coffee.
It took quite a few attempts to make something so simple. But that's exactly what we wanted — to make brewing a good cup of coffee feel effortless, so you can spend a little more time enjoying the moment.
And perhaps discovering a little joy along the way.
A little reminder.
Life doesn't always need grand adventures to feel exciting.
Sometimes, all it takes is noticing a flower along the way.
Trying something you've never tried before.
Or allowing yourself to be a little curious, just because.
